Application Process
Steps 1 through 4 can happen at any point before moving along to step 5. This is mainly due to scheduled events in advance and availability. After steps 1 through 4 have been completed, if both you and the coven are comfortable and blend well, you will then be asked to join the coven as a “Dedicant”.
Step 1: Meet and Greet
Priestess Adaryn, Coven Council, and any Sisters who can make it will meet you at a safe, neutral place (we usually choose a Denny’s). We will go over a series of questions with you and answer any questions that you might have about the coven.
Step 2: Social Gathering
You will be invited to either a social gathering with all the coven members so that they may all get to know you as a person and as a Witch. We want to see if your ideals are similar to ours and discover what you can contribute to the coven.
Step 3: Raising Energy
If all goes well at this stage, you will be asked to attend a ritual. Participating in ritual, sharing energy, and seeing how well our energies blend are important to this process. We meet for some Sabbats and some full and new moon Esbats for ritual.
Step 4: Attending a Class
Throughout the year classes are held over different aspects of green witchcraft and occult matters such as divination and paranormal investigation. The subjects are varied, and the member with the most experience or who has done the most research in the area being discussed will lead the class.
Step 5: Becoming a Dedicant
There is a 9 month “Dedicant” period before induction and loyalty oath to the Sisters and the Coven. During this 9 month trial period, you will be asked to complete a series of assignments which must be accomplished before being allowed to become a Sister. During the first 3 months, you will only be invited to certain circle events. You can or may be asked to leave the circle at any time during these 9 months, and you are free to leave at any time should you choose to do so.
Step 6: Becoming a Member
Induction and loyalty oath to the Members and the Coven.
